With an increasing emphasis on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing carbon footprints, Manito Transit has partnered with Optimus Technologies to test five semitrailers using B100 biodiesel.

The GROWMARK Foundation and the Builta family have awarded FFA jackets to 25 new students this Fall. The program stems from the family of Mike Builta, a former GROWMARK vice president and long-time employee, who passed away unexpectedly in 2019.

GROWMARK recently completed its move to a new corporate headquarters located at 1705 Towanda Avenue in Bloomington.

During the 2023 Farm Progress Show, the FS System sponsored an activity to drive donations from the GROWMARK Foundation to the Illinois Association FFA and five local FFA chapters.  

Effective September 25, 2023, Western Grain Marketing, LLC (WGM) has leased the grain elevators owned by Farmers Elevator Company of Biggs & Easton (Biggs & Easton).
