Manito Transit starts using B100 to improve sustainability

With an increasing emphasis on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing carbon footprints, Manito Transit has partnered with Optimus Technologies to test five semitrailers using B100 biodiesel. Optimus Technologies, LLC., vector system provides Manito a pathway for the seamless transition to low-carbon fuels for their current operation.
One of the most compelling reasons to embrace biodiesel in the trucking industry is its ability to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Biodiesel is produced from renewable resources, such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and even algae.
