GROWMARK Announces New Board Members
GROWMARK, Inc. is pleased to announce Andrew Durward of Thomson, Illinois and Scott McGeachy of Chatham, Ontario, Canada, have been elected to the GROWMARK Board of Directors.
Andrew is from Thomson, Illinois, where he operates a grain and livestock farm with his brothers. Andrew serves on the Carroll Service Company board and is a Carroll County Farm Bureau member.
Scott and his wife Sheila, along with their son Ryan, operate a farm in Chatham, Ontario growing vegetables and seed corn. Scott was also the finance and vice chair at AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. for 15 years.
Their three-year terms began July 28, 2023.
The current Board of Directors consists of 19 active farmers who are fully engaged in guiding GROWMARK and its affiliated FS and grain companies to reach the vision of becoming the best agricultural cooperative system in North America. Decisions made by the Board of Directors influence and mold the future of GROWMARK to best serve its member cooperatives and fulfill its purpose of helping to feed and fuel the world.
